Those of us that knew Randy will know every word is true! At least in his mind!!He was absolutely someone who lived a full life, a charmed life, an interesting life to say the least. But an honest life, he was always there with a tail, a joke and a helping hand!RIP D Randy West, you earned it!!

If you’ve been there and done that… then you know the excitement, fear and unpredictability which Mother Nature can provide. Yes… She can be Awesome… and so is this book!

The reader is awe-struck by the power of nature and the amount of luck the author has managed to muster in surviving these great storms. living in florida i really liked the subject matter. unless you know the islands very well you might want to do as I did and get a map of the west indies as it makes following the story much easier.

Starts slow and simple but this man knows his hurricanes and cranks it up as he goes. Love to meet him. I read the book on my iPad while on holidays in St Maarten. That definitely added to the interest. Learned something new about hurricanes - their origin. Thanks.
Very nice book from Capitain Randy. I just couldn't stop reading it. Just like listening his tails here in Saint Barth. Waiting for more. I have lived through few hurricanes my self and Randy can really tell the story Caribbean way. Regards from St. Barths Finn.
