This book was a good refresher on some techniques. I mainly got this book to get a better understanding of how to open door locks more efficiently with power tools, and be more aware of the variety of locks available out there. Just because a certain lock is outdated doesn't mean it's no longer in use. Some people are resistant to changing their locks, and the longer they keep their old locks means lock smiths need to have a good variety of knowledge of all the locks out there in circulation. A great book to read. Its spread out like a physics textbook starting off with vectors and then bringing you into the meat of the lock. No actual physics math required, but some knowledge on torque is a must. LOVE THIS BOOK." If you are wanting to learn about locksmithing this is the book for you! Has everything you will need to learn plus more.
Fast shipping. Excellent book very well written. I also bought 2 more of his books on video security and later plan to buy one of his earlier editions of this book just for reference on older locks and info for my locksmith journey.
I bought this for a friend who is learning the trade. He is learning a lot from this book along with the guidance from a 25yr experienced locksmith.

This is one of the most useful locksmithing books I own. It goes into details any locksmith would appreciate.
I read the book and found it to be very informative. It am very pleased with this purchase. I am curious about the test in the back of the book. There seem to be some discussion on its usefulness. I took the test and am about to mail it in to the company.
Good Information. The focus is on the variety of lock types and history. Overall a good value.
This book is so dense with info. Mind boggling is a good way to describe it. If you buy it, don't lend it to anyone. This is the type of book that others don't return. Yea, it's that good.
