Alison Goldberg is a writer based in Cambridge, Massachusetts. I Love You for Miles and Miles is her debut picture book, inspired by her children’s love of all things that go, and the many hours spent together watching construction vehicles, visiting tractors, and riding trains.Mike Yamada is an illustrator and animation production designer based in Pasadena, California. He has contributed to many animated films, including How to Train Your Dragon and Big Hero 6, and has illustrated several books for children, such as Bedtime Blastoff! by Luke Reynolds and Kai to the Rescue! by Audrey Penn.

I Love you for Miles and Miles will want you to keep reading and see where your love takes you. A fun take on linking the age old question from kids of "Do you love me?" with answers such as longer than the longest train, faster than the fastest fire truck and higher than the highest train. Perfect for little boys (and adventurous little girls) who are always on the go, yet want to know they are always loved. One that will be re-read at many bedtimes. Illustrations of a bear family always on the go are adorable and add to how much the family loves each other no matter what they are doing.
This is an incredibly sweet book about how much people can love, perfect for reading to a child before bedtime. The illustrations are bright and colorful images of different kinds of transportation, and the text reads like a lullaby.
We bought this book for our son, Miles, who is very into trucks and other vehicles. The book is cute overall, with good illustrations and a good message. However it is not the best in terms of actual text. My son, who is three, likes it and we've read it several times, but it's not his favorite.
What a wonderful bedtime book for little lovers of vehicles! Lovely lyrical writing and bright perfect illustrations. Can't wait to share this with my grandson!
